Corn cream
Yield: 10 servings | Preparation Time: 20 minutes | Calories: 85 kcal per serving of corn cream
ingredients
- 1 tablespoon (soup) of canola oil
- 1 onion chopped average
- 1 green corn can
- 200 ml of semi-skimmed milk
- 2 tablespoons (soup) of corn starch
- ½ of light cream tin
- 1 teaspoon (tsp) salt
Preparation
1. Place a nonstick pan on the heat, add the oil and the chopped onion.
2. add the green corn and cook it for 2 minutes.
3. Remove from heat, place the mixture in a blender, add the milk and beat for about 1 minute.
4. Return to the pan, bring to a boil and add the cornstarch.
5. Stir until thickened and remove from heat.
6. Add the cream, adjust the salt and serve immediately.
